Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 5 minutes.
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels and trim any excess skin or fat.
- Add chicken thighs and seasonings to a zip-top bag or bowl. Shake or toss to coat evenly.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, if desired.
- Place chicken thighs skin side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes.
- Flip the thighs and cook for an additional 10–15 minutes, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
Notes
For boneless chicken thighs, reduce cooking time to prevent dryness. For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for up to 24 hours, but ensure the skin is completely dry before air frying to achieve maximum crispiness.
