  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6 to 8 oz each)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp olive or avocado oil

Method
 

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally for even thickness. Pat dry.
  2. Mix all spices, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  3. Drizzle oil on chicken. Toss with seasoning mix until coated.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken in a single layer. Cook 5 minutes, flip, then 4–6 minutes more until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let rest 3 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Try using smoked paprika for added depth. Serve with a fresh salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
