Ingredients
  

Bagel Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups Greek yogurt
  • 4.5 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
Topping
  • 1.5 cups everything bagel seasoning or any seasoning of your choice
  • 1 large egg for egg wash

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt. Mix with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 9–12 equal portions. Roll into balls, then use your thumb and index finger to poke a hole through the center of each.
  5. Stretch each dough ball gently into a bagel shape and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush each bagel with egg wash. Press the egg-washed side into everything bagel seasoning or your favorite toppings.
  7. Return bagels to the baking sheet, topping side up, and bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Toast before serving if desired.

Notes

Customize your bagels with different seasonings like sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or cinnamon sugar. These are best eaten fresh or toasted after storing.
